Default ATP-CTP

Hi all,

I am new to the US side of things and am working on my license conversions to be able to apply to airlines in the US. I was just curious to know whether any LCCs like Frontier or Spirit are putting candidates through atp ctp courses. I have seen their cadet promotions on their web page but havent quite found the answer Im looking for. I wouldnt mind reaching out to their hiring department directly if there is an email available.

Im interested in applying to F9 and have 2500TT and flying on a q400 in Canada.

TIA

So far, Im not aware of either airline providing the ATP-CTP. However, that could change tomorrow.

They will, but Frontier only does for their cadet/university pathway people, and Spirit may for special cases (two were in my CTP class, they were CFI's teaching Rotor guys who were also in the same CTP class, they were just fortunate enough that Spirit decided to interview them too and offer them CJOs along with the Rotor guys)

No, not even for the ATP, Riddle, etc. I was in sim back in Jan and I asked this question. They all show up with their ATP-CTP done and we give them thier ATP license during initial. Per one of the sim instructors as of right now we do not have an ATP-CTP curriculum.

Frontier doesn't have a ATP-CTP program but they may be paying the 5k it costs to put them through with another company and then subtracting that cost from the "bonus".
