I don't think anyone would say that Spirit had better customer service than F9

k. Whatever you say. Our marginally better if even customer service is the thing to point out.

that’s the saving grace. 🙄

Two people fighting for the bottom is a crowd, but one at the bottom might just get the right amount of business to survive.

we’ll just ignore BE and how United and other carriers can sell tickets at a loss to minimize profit for frontier.

lol.

lol.

Do you think if they can sell those tickets for more money now they won’t?

lol.

They’re not targeting Frontier, they’re aggressively chasing every available dollar of revenue. They’ve found that by offering a limited number of BE seats that they can capture revenue from a seat that would have otherwise been empty. Once people show up they see all of the available upgrades, inflight entertainment, “free drinks”, mileage programs, frequent flights, and a much larger route network. Those people frequently turn into repeat customers who often times come back and buy economy plus seats.

WiFi by the end of 2027

first class starting to arrive fall 2026.

going to take whatever spirit slots they can.

no contract timeline

Atlanta is being worked on. Attempting to buy spirit gates in one area. To consolidate. Also plan on getting in house gate agents according to lotter in Atlanta.

aqp is likely to be implemented late in the fall.

there you go. As of last week this is my 98% accuracy.

Ask him again. I would expect more detailed answers for employees (over stockholders).

had the same gates we are likely to get.

couldn’t turn a profit.

this model doesn’t work.

you cannot compete with the BE with the route of the legacies.

we have such an uphill battle ahead of us. Even a cultural change of rallying behind frontier won’t work.

our product is undesirable.

make a better product not just doing what spirit did.

spoiler alert. It failed.

Spirit lost money because of bad engines, poor timing of taking on new debt and high gas prices. They werent the only airline feeling it but were the only ones with 40% less fleet size while still incurring 100% of the costs.

Had they not had engine problems (or had we merged with them and taken THEIR CEO), they’d still be operating.
