Oh, you don’t want them because everyone is returning airplanes? Ok, let’s negotiate!”
well, I guess that is my point. Franke / Indigo, probaby has "rights to the assets" , versus Frontier

but who knows

Sort of...

Jetsmart has 19 airplanes, so sending them a few hundred is probably not going to happen. Mexican aviation is pretty screwed up, the Mexican Navy is taking over the Mexico City airport, and Volaris has been loosing money. Wizz, possible. But the US market is the whale.

I have heard they can and can’t. Not sure which is true.

But assuming they can, Wizz just put in another large order and have plenty coming their way. https://www.airbus.com/en/newsroom/press-releases/2023-08-wizz-air-orders-a-further-75-a321neo-family-aircraft?fbclid=IwAR0A-CCcwDk1S3BvDzXdGdUXNVoVnoGHoBstIiTrmT8VqgwgvnpkTMB _kpk
I can’t see Jetsmarter or Volaris taking many. Actually, I would see Frontier taking more from others with the hole that Spirit should be leaving behind and the size of the US market.

Right. Except it's far more likely that Frontier takes planes from Volaris or JetSmart than the other way around. The US economy is how much bigger than the Mexican and Chilean?

Rumor has it that Biffle may be seeing the writing on the wall. Company is making money but not near as much as it could be. Lots of the Senior VPs don't like working w/ him. He yells, belittles, etc. so many just tell him what he wants to hear to placate/get rid of him in conversation. Which means he doesn't have a true perspective on how bad things are.

I know him and Franke are boys but giving the excuse of "all airlines are experiencing the same issues" might just be wearing thin. I can't imagine any other airline w/ operational stats like ours.

This and about $7.00 will get you a fancy cup of coffee...

Is this rumor about as true as the other rumors I hear on the line?

He’s selling his house and moving to Dallas for the merger with American?
Buying AA debt.
Big announcement May 25th (3 months ago) according to the head of MX.
Barry two years ago offered us Delta pay rates and rumor is we refused.
He closed ORD to spite the pilots.
BL saying we won’t be F9 in a year. We will have merged with a United. We are merging with United.
Everyone hates, BL and he’s being fired.
ETC Etc.

I’ve heard all those rumors too. None of them have materialized or show any truth to reality.

Barry screams like a child and is being fired. Mmmkay.

That being said, apparently word on the street from recurrent a month ago is that gate agents are in the works of being brought in house. Along with some much needed ops upgrades in ATL???
