They won’t put Sun Country rates on the table today, but two years from now, they are going to puke up Delta rates? Take me through that logic.

If the mediator doesn't care, then why have one? What's the purpose of having a contract with an end date or setting up the whole negotiating process? Why/how did we get the last contract done? Did Biffle all of the sudden feel sorry for us?

Whatever that reason, we just need to duplicate it. If it's something that's beyond our control, then its just a waiting game. Or, if you're correct, we operate like this forever (or until enough people leave) and in which case, you're suggesting the RLA doesn't work (ie. release to self-help). Perhaps it doesn't and none of us - only the NMB knows - and they're just going thru the motions for a paycheck.

And in mentioning the NMB, we're talking about people with college degrees, that have a semblance of knowledge about the industry and what other airlines are being paid. Do you really think the mediator doesn't know a sh!t deal when he/she sees one?

I don't know if self-help is a realistic option, but I'd bet the meditator does at least have a semblance of care for getting their job done and understand the market enough to know what's reasonable and what's not. Call me naive but i'll just trust the system . . . for now.

Circumstances are very different now. Frontier was always meant to be a pump and dump investment. Indigo is never going to pay for a contract when they are trying to unload the airline.

I know Im going to sound antagonistic by asking this, but WHY didn't more of the people *****ing here (rightfully so) leave for a legacy in 2022 to early 2024 during the "big dig" when flying for F9/JB/NK was practically a shoe-in for getting hired at one of the big 3?

THAT exedous would have been by far the most effective pressure for a contract.

Yea yea yea....I know the seniority thing, but if one had left 2 yrs ago, they would already be senior enough at any of the big 3 to upgrade and make far more than an F9 CA now.

Living in base vs having to commute seems like the only logical reason, but w bases here so unreliable even that is questionable, not to mention a lot of F9 bases are also legacy ones.

Here’s to hoping for a merger in the fall when passenger demand dries up big time.

This post has no point. You can’t go back in time.

Sorry to go off topic. Can anyone tell me what the unstacking percentage is at Frontier?

There's probably a good number of people who regret not jumping ship when the jumping was good

Most senior 50% / 70% of line holders, depending on month, are shielded from unstacking.
