I am not real happy with the way the union is being led right now. Quibbling over NDA's, complete silence over this company's unacceptable performance the last 12 months, useless polling that is a waste of our $$, more silence on the massive displacements occuring, failure to engage on conversation on our long term viability, the expectation that 15 year senior pilots give up and go to United...

I don't know our chairman's family life, but not all of us can just uproot and start over somewhere else. It is not just dollars that drive that decision, but commuting, kids at home, whatever it may be... But that seems to be the campaign they put on.

I can’t think of a single one of our captains who've recently left for United or anywhere else for that matter, and did so without some consideratble measure of frustration and personal discomfort. Having done it myself, things are quite different during first year pay, though there is light at the end of the tunnel. This wasn't a choice I wanted to make - I felt cornered into making it. This company isn't the same place it was pre-COVID. After the failed merger, every day is progressivly worse than the last. We were a rudderless ship until they decided to go to an Allegiant style model. And that'll work until, like everything else they do, it doesn't. Then more base closures, more mass displacements and more disrupted lives? And instead of blaming failed leadership they will continue to place blame on Jacksonville Center or find some other ridiculous reason. Rinse and repeat with the next whim from Phoenix.

The outrage is IMHO compleetly misdirected here.

But when somebody who has access to all the information that is shared in the NDA world during negotiations decides to give up their seniority and move on, big loss of not, makes you wonder if he knows something that you'll end up wishing you had known.

When all the folks with inside info are selling, perhaps it is time to sell!

oh yeah, he had so much insider information that he knew they were going to close Chicago. And I quote we had no idea they were going to close Chicago.

Bought at $3.40 HODL. Going to be nice returns once stock price hits $8-9 again.

Hes going to regret going, when we merge with UAL a year from now and he loses all that seniority that he could’ve gotten with the SLI.

I mean, that’s the rumor, right?

I honest to goodness think the merger or buyout talk originates strictly from management. It no doubt keeps a few teetering guys a little bit more carrot to chew on before they hit submit on their app. Yes, most people don't actually believe it, but it's rattling around in the back of their heads. Plus, it's free to spread rumors, and that's the kinda cost F9 loves.

He'll hold DEN 737 Captain in Indoc and be paid captain rate as soon as he hits 350 hours. Not a bad move if you live in DEN.

that would be a great return.

however nothing at all, in any manner whatsoever, is occuring right now that would make buyers (who move the stock) come into the picture and make the stock triple in price.

For those dreamers out there Hawaiian stock shot up 287% overnight without warning this month. More realistically fuel is getting cheaper and airline stocks have been on a tear.
