I don't know what the long term future of the ULCC market is. But having just ridden in the back of a United 737 I can say that they aren't offering some premium experience back there. Economy plus is a bit better, but main cabin United 737 service is absolutely dog sh|t.
But they do have multiple flights per day and the gate agents don't yell at you, which is nice.
We have so much potential. And i really mean that. We just have to try a tiny bit harder. Just a little more staffing and a little better customer service and I think we offer a very compelling product. Just try a bit harder, Barry. It'll pay off. We can beat Southwest at their own game. But we need someone making decisions to build a nicer airline. The competition really isn't that great
