Exclamation Attrition?

Does anyone know the current attrition numbers?
Rumor is that it's 90 pilots per month - from somebody at RGS

Training can't keep up with that, but I doubt it's 90.

Not possible, but 30-50 is believable.

Will only get worse next year.

It’s actually 900 and a contract is expected next week.

Good for everyone moving on from this place. Onto bigger and brighter futures!

For most pilots, year 2 to 3 are where things break even financially. I’m glad to see people choosing not to waste their careers here. It’s not just the junior guys and gals bailing either, another Chief Pilot is leaving. It’s got to be bad if even the CP’s are leaving.

If you’re young and have more than five years left, get those apps out.

I’m a 2nd year FO and leaving as soon as possible. The anoint of FOs with CJOs and interviews is staggering. Good luck to those staying behind. 2026 attrition might actually land you all a CBA.

Doubtful. Go check out the F9 cadet Reddit page. There are 1000 pilots drooling over their first jet job at frontier.

They have cadet class dates going out through 2028.

Maybe 2029 for a contract?

I think F9 has had their fill of cadets. I believe they will continue to sprinkle them into classes at a very slow rate…in my opinion to have them get hired elsewhere and leave the program. The ramifications of going from a 172 to a 321 have been pretty clear and as blind as F9 can be sometimes…I think even they see it. Just my 2 cents though.
