I think he got the boot. The email was not from him, so my guess is he got fired. About time…at least I see this as a good thing.

 

best case scenario spirit has enough cash till end of January. Remember the next 50 million is still contingent on an indication of interest or plan of re org. If something is gonna occur I think sometime in January it would be announced.

 

Indigo Partners is about to buy Spirit. Biffle will run Spirit as a private company until Frontier merges. That’s my guess.

 

Finally. After BB’s reckless spending habits we are going to see some serious cost cutting to lead us to profitability to infinity and beyond!!

So the Ryanair guy who was all in on multiple bases, and the day-turn model that Ryanair does, is now going to change? I expect more chaos.

 

Indigo will buy Spirit for <500 Million Debt free.

You may be thinking that will not happen... Your Right.

It comes down to what Spirit owns (which as far as I can see is some office space in South Florida and a hotel) Beyond that the only value in in the whole airline intact. However I don't see anybody lining up to buy the Airline because any suiters could just spend the money and expand in to the spirit shadow without taking on the debt. So It all depends on how long it takes the people who control Spirit to recognize this as a stop loss situation. As it stands right now they are selling a couple of buildings and turn kay airline for well more than there worth. A few people have come over to kick the tires ,but nobody seems to see any value.

For what it's worth Frontier asset wise is in the same position we may not even own the headquarters building IDK
