I doubt it. Dempsey will probably tighten things up and get our house in order first before any type of merger possibility. Might see some base closures or realignments. I’d venture to say it might speed up contract negotiations. He can’t implement his “strategy” with a ****ed off unpredictable pilot group.

You may be thinking that will not happen... Your Right.
It comes down to what Spirit owns (which as far as I can see is some office space in South Florida and a hotel) Beyond that the only value in in the whole airline intact. However I don't see anybody lining up to buy the Airline because any suiters could just spend the money and expand in to the spirit shadow without taking on the debt. So It all depends on how long it takes the people who control Spirit to recognize this as a stop loss situation. As it stands right now they are selling a couple of buildings and turn kay airline for well more than there worth. A few people have come over to kick the tires ,but nobody seems to see any value.
For what it's worth Frontier asset wise is in the same position we may not even own the headquarters building IDK
