Default Line holder question

Let’s say I am a “no bid” in January and I am assigned a reserve schedule because I couldn’t bid. In February, I bid and I am awarded a line in March. Can they put reserve on my schedule for all of February as well?

Send a DART to the scheduling committee. They are responsive.

I must be missing something.

If you were no bid for Jan (didn't bid in Dec) and bid again in Feb, then what did you do in Jan?

Or you bid in Jan which means you got reserve for Feb and you have a line for March?

There's an availability table in the contract that describes this as well.

i was in training for December. Now I’m not. So I do not have a January schedule. And I’m probably not going to be eligible to bid on January 1st. So I suspect I will get reserve thrown on my schedule for January. However on February 1st I will bid for March and I will have a line. Will I have reserve out on my schedule for February as well?

You know what the F9 pilots need? A scheduling committee and a convenient way to communicate with them.

im tired of paying union dues and not getting anything from it. It’s stupid having to come on APC for random strangers to answer these questions.

oh wait…….

25.F and follow the bouncing ball. It’s going to be much quicker than a back and forth on here. All scheduling answers are found in sec 25. Scheduling.

Great question.

May I ask you what part of the contract you have read which might deal w/ this issue (and how you interpret it) and what the subsequent answer was from the Scheduling committee from the DART you sent?

I did not send a DART. Is this your passive aggressive way of suggesting I send a DART? I have not had great success with those. So, I will either find the answer myself or just find out when it all unfolds on its own.

Hey just curious. Now that you’re apparently about to be a line holding captain. What are you gonna do when you have an operational issue?

You just gonna ignore resources like chief pilots, FODM, MX, crew scheduling, etc. Skip right to some rando on APC?

Hey guys. Soooooo, I got this airplane with an MEL’d AEVC, with an FR. So, what exactly is an AEVC and how do I comply with this FR? Can someone tell me what an FR is, BTW? Also, I’ve been at work since 05:00. It’s 18:00 now, do I need an extension? Do I need an alternate for the snow in NYC today?”

“Thanks for any answers guys. Chief pilots don’t have a lot of success. No passive aggressive responses plz!”
