Team Frontier:
Today we are sharing an important update regarding a transition in the CEO role at our company. Jimmy Dempsey has been appointed Interim Chief Executive Officer of Frontier Airlines effective immediately. Barry Biffle will remain with the company in an advisory capacity through the end of the month.
Jimmy joined Frontier in 2014 as Chief Financial Officer, and most recently served as Frontier’s President. Prior to joining Frontier, he held senior management roles at Ryanair Holdings PLC along with various management roles with PricewaterhouseCoopers.
Frontier Group Holdings, Inc. Board Chair William Franke, stated, “Jimmy has been an invaluable member of Frontier’s senior leadership team for more than 10 years and has played an instrumental role in the company’s evolution and growth during that time. We believe Jimmy is uniquely qualified to guide our airline into the future.” Franke added, “The Board of Directors is deeply appreciative of Barry’s leadership and dedicated service to Frontier over the past 11 years. We thank him for his many contributions during his tenure.”
Jimmy Dempsey shared, “I am honored and excited to lead Frontier Airlines and thank the Board for its trust to shape Frontier’s future with the 13,000+ dedicated and hardworking members of Team Frontier. I look forward to partnering with our team to write Frontier’s next chapter.”
Additional information will be forthcoming in a separate communication from Jimmy.
Thank you.

I doubt it. Dempsey will probably tighten things up and get our house in order first before any type of merger possibility. Might see some base closures or realignments. I’d venture to say it might speed up contract negotiations. He can’t implement his “strategy” with a ****ed off unpredictable pilot group.
