No longer hiring FO's?
Talked to a guy whose in the class behind me. He said he was told that Gojet is no longer hiring First Officers. Any validity to this? They just offered huge bonuses for pilots coming in February and March. Thank you.

Well, I would like to say that Gojet was great while it lasted, but it wasn't.

Someone is feeding you bad info.
We're hiring like crazy, and offering massive bonuses. New hire classes every 2 weeks. Last class I saw was 20 new FOs.
Internally their asking for more experienced line pilots to teach classes or sims. All signs of massive hiring.
Maybe someone is confusing Trans States with GoJet?
Could be that the classes are full of TS pilots coming over for the next month or two. They did offer time credit for up to 15 years on the pay scale.

Just FYI, pilots are being offered voluntary leave of absence at the moment, schedules have been reduced significantly, GoJet is not hiring at the moment, maybe interviewing but not hiring. Leaves are being offered until June. Also the arrival of the 550s has been stopped, we currently have 33 airplanes, and the rest has been postponed until further notice. When this virus craziness passes, all pilots on leave would have to return before new classes are started, so if everything goes well, probably August or September.
