Do you work for GoJet, have you read our LOA?

Do you, and have you? Feel free to point me where in the LOA or section 15 it says “if a pilot is on a leave of absence the company may not hire any other pilots”.

I think that they might be trying to hedge their bets. Having pilots on voluntary leave is, at least, a good sign. Certainly better than furloughs. Doing some interviews during this downturn might allow them to get pilots in line for when classes resume.

The training footprint is approx. 90-95 days from Day 1 Indoc to completion of IOE. So it makes sense to have people in class right now that have started to finish up. Hopefully when they are done, some flying has returned and the company isn't too far behind.

i do and I have, and it doesn’t matter anymore, because the LOA won’t be signed.

In other words you can’t, why is it so easy for people to spout BS and so hard for them to admit their mistake. Thanks for playing.

Received an email offering to interview today.
They still hiring? Someone clicked the wrong button?
Asking in all honesty . Was quite surprised to receive it.

Well I guess it was signed after all. The LOA states that the reduction of pay is for the purposes of preventing furloughs, how can you justify your “need” to furlough while you are still hiring? And by hiring I mean someone coming in on payroll for full MMG. If you are interviewed and get a job offer, you have not been hired yet. That being said, No we are not hiring at the moment. Interviewing? Yes. Giving out job offers for whenever? Yes. When would whenever be? No one really knows, it could be soon, it could not.
