Actually, being scab based in St Louis, as in Ryan Aircraft NX-211 Spirit of St Louis, the airplane. But since the airplane can't talk on the radio- they went with Lindbergh, the guy that flew it.

Now, I may not have this straight since I really could care less about unions, but why do people hate gojets exactly?

united wanted tsa to fly 700's for them but with the american scope clause tsa needed to create another certificate to fly the planes on. they did this and asked the union to fly the planes, the union said lets talk pay rates and tsa managment said bull **** your going to make the same as you do on the 50 seat jet. tsa pilots said forget it. tsa managment then started furloghing and said if anyone wanted to go over to the new airline they could. the net result is go jets are considered an alter ego whipsaw scab pilots who really screwed their brothers and sisters at tsa over

are there jets really shiny? cause alot of the tsa jets dont look to shiny specially the usair ones

(not saying anything about tsa's product it just doesnt look as nice as it could)

Isn't GoJet IBT now?

While I understand the general history of their airline, isn't it a lot like Mesa/Freedom now?

I still have the Freedom A-listers in my bag, isn't that the same situation at GoJet?

They are IBT. However they're represented by local 618. This is the same local tha represents such great groups as TSA flight attendants and gas station workers in the St. Louis area.

Local 747, which represents Horizon, Republic and other airlines refused to allow them in due to the nature of their business. Pretty hard to fight for better contracts when you're being compared to one that was signed only two years ago that's worse than just about every contract signed post 9/11 or in Ch. 7.

Many other airlines are furloughing yet they still can't fill classes. What does that tell you?
