To answer the original question
In a recent conversation with a Go Jet captain:
Bombardier apparently is having trouble delivering the aircraft promised to GO Jet due to mass production of 900's. The 700 deliveries are backlogged a bit however they should be able to start deliveries in June or July instead of the April/May time frame. Therefore Go Jet is interviewing but not necessarily hiring due to backlogged aircraft.
Before the rest of you start with your ramped insults I don't work for nor do I have interest in working for Go Jets I just like to keep up with former colleagues of mine.

Here's and even better update.
Word is that Hulas can't secure the funds to buy the new planes because WE (TSA) are collateral for the purchases. So be prepared to rot in the pool until our contract is secured.

Nice someone asked an honest question and gets a bunch of bitter responses, that's real proffesional. Not everyone has the luxury of getting a job at a nice union represented pilot group. There are people that are living on unemployment, NO LET ME REFRASE THAT, there are people that are slipping into oblivion on unempoyment that would love to have any job. I believe that pilot's should band together to help each other out. Ask yourself what you would do if you were on the street and looking to get off unemployment that may not last more then a year to a year and a half, once those checks stop coming anything starts to look like a decent job.

MOD NOTE: If you have a cogent answer to the poster's question on the hiring pool, please answer it. If you do not, well, don't post anything, especially if all you have to contribute is a bunch of pictures of dirty swimming pools. We get it already!
