I did a little number crunching from pay scales listed here on APC. This should shed some light on the which regional pays the least or "50 seat pay for 70 seat planes".
Below is the average 70-90 seat FO pay over a 5 year period (excluding Horizon).
ASA – 36.20
Sky West – 36.2
Comair – 34.40
Eagle – 34.20
Compass – 34.20
Pinnacle – 33.80
Republic – 32.80
PSA – 32.60
Gojet – 31.40
Mesaba – 31.20
Mesa – 30.4
Lynx – 27.40
Colgan – 26.20

You have stated that TSA failed to secure the flying. Everyone knows and is also documented that they were trying to negotiate for better than 50 seat rate on a 70 seat aircraft.
So would you take substandard wages to secure flying for gojets? Would you fly a 190 for 70 seat wages just to make sure you got the flying?

As far as the 190, I would not LIKE to have have 70 seat pay. As far as the GJ, yes I would, because you can't negotiate anything unless you have the airframes you see.... you can't change the way the owner does business especially when you know your contract is full of outs. Ask Mesa guys during freedom, ask RAH pilots when they were uniting their certificates with 30 dollar pay for 99 seaters. There is no conspiracy out there, it's just business. We all would like to work for 100 bucks an hour in a perfect world.

hmm I'm thinking the same question that at least 20 people have asked you over the past 8 months that you never answer, even though we all know the answer to it anyways.
