You should be careful what you wish for...all those "guys" who don't know about or care about G7 will be gone in 10 years. Guess who is behind them? We ALL know what and how it went down. We will be on the hiring boards, chief pilots etc. Believe me when I say guys don't forget. Had an old TWA guy just the other day tell me that guys at American "were not his colleagues". Just food for thought...

I understand your point. Even if true by the time these folks make it onto an interview board or chief pilot position I would hope they would grow up enough to be a professional. If not...oh well.
I just wish the GJ experiment went down as an L in MGT's record. They got the 'W', they got the 'W'. |

Don't even bother arguing with this guy or any other GoJet guy. I get headaches just trying to read their posts, because apparently spelling and grammar isn't a requirement getting hired there. They have to come back with some kind of ridiculous rebuttal, because that's all they got and it makes them feel better for working at such a lousy operation.
Your ignorance never seems to amaze me. Feel free to read all of the post from yours to mine, more than not have pi$$ poor spelling and grammar and more post are from other airlines than GJ. You seem to have your head so far up your own a$$ you can’t see straight. Why do you have to be so childish? Grow up and quit calling other people names, be a professional. We all have our opinions of people, but we all don’t need to be rude and offensive to each other expressing these opinions. I’ll say it again, grow up and quit acting like a child. |

I mean this as respectfully as I can; wishing isn’t going to change anything. I wish I could win the lotto, I wish I drove a (insert fancy car), I wish I never got furloughed from TSA… twice. What’s done is done, everyone has to move forward. Unfortunately some people are too busy looking at the past and can’t seem to move past it, and that is really unfortunate because it will end up hurting them more than those they are holding a grudge against. You have posted before about your displeasure with the 'W', well do what you can do make sure it doesn’t happen again. I have said before that most people know how and why the company was created; nothing is going to change any of that. What can change is whether it happens again or not. So many people can type so big and bad but would never say what they type in person, which says a lot about their character. In person I would choose to politely ignore the idiots and loud mouths because I was brought up to not say anything if you can’t say something nice, the problem with that is on an internet forum idiots and loud mouths can be overpowering like the bully in school. They make a lot of noise and are intimidating but that’s about it. |

I've learned things. I've used those things to further my career. Please enlighten me (and others) on what previous posts have to do with flight experience? Yes, I have over 10k hours. Most flying single pilot freight, charter, air ambulance among other things. Your point?

They make a lot of noise and are intimidating but that’s about it. Finally, what's with the intimadation talk? I hope no one is threatening anyone. I personally like the forums, because people can say what is on their minds in an industry where rocking the boat is still looked down upon greatly. I hate hearing that 'aviation is small, so watch out, or things will come back to bite you.' We all know the implicit threat of speaking out. I do realize with CRM crews are more open to dissenting for immediate safety reasons, but that's about as far as making waves goes. Why can't the mentality be 'aviation is small and close knit, and we all watch out for each other.'? When folks say Go Jet and pay for jobs have hurt the industry, isn't it because they want what is better for the group? I know I do. But hey, if it's good for you, who cares, right? I love that mentality. |

What would have happened if Go Jet couldn't staff because for once, pilots showed some unity, and none showed up to fly for Go Jet? Could have been an epic fail for them. Don't deflect by answering a question with a question.
