ORD?

Plan on applying as soon as Monday. What are my chances if I get hired of being based at ORD right out of training?

Yes 18 months. Upgrading 20 a month till I guess whenever they can't upgrade anymore.

I've been here a year now and give or take moving up 10-20 senority numbers a month.

You should be able to hold RDU right out of training. STL is the junior base though for FO's.

From my experiences awesome group of guys to fly with. Never have had any problems so far. Of course every airline has that 2% but I haven't seen them yet. (Most of them are over at TSA). This isn't 2005 anymore. I've never been denied a jumpseat and most majors I jumpseat on they have no clue who GoJet even is. Lot of guys leaving to JBU and UAL at the moment so don't believe the crap people spill on here about tarnishing your career. I myself have an interview next month at another major 121 carrier so it's worked out for me.

I don't need to say our contract sucks. It does. Really bad. We all know it and everyone in this industry knows it. Look how long TSA took to finally get theirs. But I will say whenever hell freezes over and we do get one it will be better than TSA's.

And finally yes LIDO's do suck but we're still using Jepps now at the moment. No trial period has been approved for use of them in flight yet.

That's all I got. Now to wait for the trolls.

Well since you brought up TSA, 2005 is still relevant because Delta is using your contract to force rate resets on other airlines.

Of course you will have a better contract after you are stapled to the bottom of the TSA list after the merger.....

As I've said on here before, I've had a good experience at GoJet thus far. I spent 1.5 months on reserve in ORD. I've had most weekends and almost every holiday off since I started (due to luck, I'm sure, but hey who cares). Each month I've been here I've been dropped from a trip for someone else's IOE, which means 16 days off and then picking up trips to credit 100+ hours. Not bad. Crews are great. There are some complainers but you will find that anywhere. I've been flying a lot and the 2ish year upgrades are real. I'm genuinely glad I came here.

Well, seeing as how after 2 years the last GoJet thread was finally locked, here's the next one.

In my humble opinion: If you live in base, an ok gig, not great, but driving to work is worthwhile.

If you live elsewhere? Well, you decide.

IN BEFORE THE LOCK

If they were to merge together, which they never will, a staple is against federal statute. Last I checked (and it's been awhile), the G7 pilot group was bigger than TSA anyway, and they fly bigger aircraft. You can still dream...

Lol...I was just making a point. Wasn't gonna say anything disparaging about Gojet. It's all in good fun anyhow. Honestly, all the Gojet pilots I've met in person have been real cool. I'm not sure about the 2 posts that were deleted for personal information, but I wouldn't say anything on this forum that I wouldn't say to someone's face. I'm not one pf these a$$ clowns hiding behind a tough guy Internet persona.
