I'm amazed at the consistency of the comments.

I was having dinner with Steve Briner, the Gojet DO, once in Chicago. He was telling me that Gojet does not want guys to stay there long. He said they want the guys to move out to better things rather than them having to move them out. Now I will never forget these numbers: He said, "Why would we want to pay guys $118 an hour when we can pay them $85. Being a fairly senior guy making about $67 back then, I had to ask, "Who's making 85?"

Now that Gojet can't get any pilots perhaps that is a reason he is out of aviation?

I've come across some guys who have lett XJT and went to G7. Some sort of longevity bonus. Amazing and unbelievable...

I've been bringing up this theory for a while and it always baffled some CA's minds. Why pay you more when they could pay someone less? Regional airlines only exist to save money. Same thing applies to the regional guys trying to get hired by their mainline partner. Why would UAL want to pay you more for the same job? You already work for a legacy, and for a fraction of the pay.

That's how you know they had(have) scum working there. Tsa is owned by Hulas, same as Gojet but there's way less fear and intimidation, if any. That means those child molster looking managers on the Gojet side who probably can't get hired anywhere else other than Home Depot are taking it upon themselves to run a sweatshop and preserve their jobs.

Why does everyone make statements like this about Home Depot as if they hire anyone? They screen people pretty well which is a secret to there success and they terminate if they hire an incomparable person. I bet if you send 10 pilot applicants to Gojet and 10 to Home Depot, more of the 10 will be offered jobs at Gojet (all 10) than Home Depot.

Sorry, I have to run, lady in isle 8 needs help with a sewer pump.

This is why aviation isn't what it used to be.

Briner may have been the least qualified person to be a DO. At Comair and gojet. Mesa would not even hire that dumbass.
