That's kind of my point. Why would you tip someone like that who's livelihood isn't dependent on tips? Why not tip your contractor after they get through building your house? Why not tip all the laborers? I mean you can extrapolate this to any profession no matter how much they make. Where is the cutoff point?

As a flight attendant, the only tip I would appreciate is for a passenger to act civil to crew and their fellow passengers!

During the holidays I always handout gift cards to Starbucks, Dunkin Donuts etc.etc. to the crews.

Otherwise, nope.

I believe the OP was referring to passengers in general tipping flight attendants. Being nice to your colleagues is another thing altogether.
