Default Pop Quiz

Your A319 is very slow to climb. It's also very noisy, shaking and fails to climb above 24,000 feet. Enroute you find that your fuel burn is very high. What could possibly be wrong???

Forgot to disconnect the tug? You may be able to shake it off with a couple of snap rolls. Hope the driver jumped clear!

I am in a state of disbelief. How do two pilots not realize they forgot the gear?

I guess at least if they're gonna forget it, they forgot it in the down and locked position vice the other way.

Job opening, anyone?
