Agree with Airhoss: The spectacular short landings in 30 knot wind on you tube has nothing to do with the flying I did in Bush Alaska 33-36 years ago. Friends keep sending those videos mighty impressed of the short landings and take offs.
Try it with a C-207 loaded to the brims with fish, moose meat or heavy equipment for the villages.
Good old days, glad I got to experience that, and glad I survived, quite a few friends and colleagues did not.
