Default cargo vs. pax

sorry if i'm being a broken record... but what are some advantages of flying cargo vs. pax and pax vs. cargo... granted everyone likes different things obviously, but what are some of those things?

and when would the best time to be in your training to kind of head in the direction of one or the other?

if this is a repeat thread (i tried searching) just point me in the right direction.

thanks mucho

Let me seeeeeeee, how about $$$$$$$$?!?!?!?

The qualifications and preperation are the same so don't worry about that

My "Top Ten Reasons I Prefer Flying Boxes"

10: No Flight Attendants.
9: Boxes don't ask stupid questions.
8: You don't have to explain to the boxes how high we're flying and how fast we're going.
7: Boxes will never mistake you for a ticket agent or a skycap.
6: You never have to stand in the door and thank the boxes for flying FedEx.
5: Boxes don't critique your landings.
4: You never have to deal with a drunken box.
3: Boxes never ***** about their seat assignment.
2: With boxes you never have to whine about ride reports.

And the Number ONE reason I prefer flying boxes....

No Flight Attendants.

If I need to get up for what ever reason.. eat something, stretch my legs, take a dump, etc... I simply get up, open the cockpit door and do it.. No F/A's to contact and coordinate security and food carts with, no pax to stare at you as you walk out of the cockpit as though the airplane is going to fall out of the sky when you're not in the seat strapped in..

That alone makes it worth it.. On a long leg, you can slap on some comfy sweats and take a nap and not ever worry about anyone seeing you..

It would be hard for me to go back to pax..

Exactly - IF and ONLY when you are single.

And when you aren’t single anymore???

Well, I've never flown airline, but I'm guessing it's like having a wife, in which I do, for almost 6 months. I like to refer to it as "The Good, the Bad, and the Ugly." Also, there's an F/A thread somewhere, the US doesn't have the quality it once did. Other than that, just like my signature, FREIGHT IS GREAT!!!

Side Note:
At least CE750 has a crewed airplane. I know a guy(And I'm serious, it's not me) that has an 'alarm clock' setting. He'll go VFR on the return trip, usually 5500ft or above, (because where he told me he did this, and he passes over SDF of all places,) and set the fuel on Aux. In appx 1.5 hrs, you'll run them dry and there ya go! Yeah, it's a great thing when "that" guy moves on to other things.
