I have to agree with you. Most "shows" like this have age entry requirements. Public venues like airport terminals can't begin to screen for that. Would the Chippendales be appropriate in EWR's C concourse?

They do, after all, appeal to a heterosexual group.

I had a layover in San Jose once where the banquet hall had a gay/drag fashion show and contest. You had to be 18 to enter and they were checking ID. But they didn't do it in the lobby where just anyone and their kids could stumble across them. That's called responsibility.

United showed a distinct lack of responsibility in this case. I wonder who in PR thought this would be a good idea.

If the “hosting” by United was supposed to be part of a marketing strategy intended to improve revenue; I’d say based on the Twitter responses, it was another swing and miss, like the new uniform campaign, the new bonus program....... etc.

But when is Untied mgt going to host the pedophelia and beastiality show? They are people too you know, and they buy tickets.

Took the words right out of my mouth! While we're at it, how about people who like to have sex in public places? Surely, they have rights and buy tickets!

Do you really think those are equivalent in any way? One is a positive celebration about oneself...

That's a matter of opinion.

Pride celebrations are not about you.

Absolutely correct. Unless, of course, they are forced upon me. Then it becomes very much about me.

Then why have them in public?

Do you know why Drag Queens sleep so well?

They tuck themselves in!
