Default Best and Worst Call Signs?

The best call sign I have heard over the radio was a military flight. "Mullet 1"

There are several regional call signs that are pretty lame.

Who has the best and worst call signs?

I like Cactus although I dont know for how long it's gonna be around. But if I'm not mistaken it's still used for flights that used to be operated by HP. Speedbird also sounds "cool"

Why did ASA switch to "Acey?" It is a silly call sign.

Default Whodat?

Some call signs from Edwards AFB in the '70s:

Eagle xx --- (F-15 JTF)
Zoom xx --- (F-16 JTF)
Cobra xx --- (Test Pilot School)
Paco xx --- (A-10 JTF)
Rick xx --- (Test Ops)

The call sign was attached to the pilot, no matter what type or tail number he happened to be flying, which probably meant fewer missed radio calls.

I also like Springbok (South African) and LongHaul (Cargo 360).

Thank you Tom.

Early one morning last fall we were going into IAD and wondered who that was with the Matress-sounding callsign.

I like Exec. Jet Mgt.'s "Jetspeed".
