P.S - Air Capital of the World my @$$

It's been a while since I've been there (last when I got my type at FSI), but there are some great restaurants downtown in the older section of town. (The Brick area you speak of). When I was airline crew, we stayed at the Hyatt Downtown... it was probably one of the nicest hotels as far as regional hotels go. ICT definitely isn't on my top list anymore, but it certainly Allentown, PA; Manchester, NH; or Charleston, WV...

OK. Now Ill throw some into the hat.

1. Cabo San Lucas,MX - Hotel Finnestera over looking the Pacific and Sea of Cortez. Only hotel that can see both. Flew my wife down, fished 2 days and caught 12 tuna and a striped marlin. Best fishing ever. 600 feet deep only 1 mile offshore.

2. Teluride CO. Summertime. Better the Aspen.

3. Liberia, Costa Rica. Paradisus Playa Conchal. Best pool. 400 acres on the Pacific. http://www.paradisusplayaconchal.travel/

4. ST MAARTEN Dutch side rocks. French side boring but quiet. Moho Hotel. OH! and the famous Sunset Beach Bar right on final approach. KLM flying the 747 and A340 right over your head. People getting sand blasted into the ocean as they takeoff. Oh and women hate to where the tops here. This is a must see before your die if your pilot! Please spead my ashes here.

Sevilla was pretty sweet. Got to spend a week there enroute to the sandbox courtesy of the tanker breaking. Thank you KC-10!!!

Lake Charles, Louisiana

Lafayette, Louisiana

Huntsville, Alabama

Those are my top three overnights and I'm not even an airline pilot. I can't wait to start flying to all those exotic RJ destinations.

Plus, you only like Huntsville because of "Space Camp".

Why? That place is sinking faster than the Titanic right now. I'd stay away.
