Scientist across the globe are pretty much all saying the same things about climate change. I guess mocking Greta is easier than facing some uncomfortable truths?
Maybe she should listen to the experts because given her rhetoric she obviously doesn't.

I'm concerned about flight shaming among other things. Not sure if you've been watching these debates on TV but I have, and a good number of the candidates and their supporters oppose even nuclear energy as an alternative to fossil fuels. These people run for office and they vote. That to me is not something that should be ignored.

That’s fair to be concerned, we have plenty of things to keep our eyes on - greedy corporate managers, union busting politicians, regional conflicts/wars, automation advances, etc. I just don’t think it warrants the level of concern as others do. Within Europe a bit more so, but here in States we don’t have the rail infrastructure to support much of a movement away from flying. Just isn’t feasible. People are going to keep flying international only a handful won’t go because of so called flight shaming or personal tree hugging reasons. Won’t be enough to impact business and maybe even open a few more seats for us lowly nonrevs.

Basically all of the Abrahamic faiths want to spread the seed far & wide as possible. Saying 'nothing religious about it' is laughable.
As usual, bigots often use unofficial and inaccurate sites like mormonbeliefs.org to explain what life-long active members believe. LDS couples who CHOOSE not to have children are not considered sinners, and couples who use birth control also are not considered sinners.

Didn't say anything about sinning. The whole concept of sin is preposterous to begin with right up there with blasphemy. Nice attempt at the whole bigot thing though. I'll defend your right to believe and practice whatever you want, but it's also my right to call out the silliness of said mythical beliefs.

I also wouldn't be as critical if there wasn't a sustained effort to reshape our courts & democracy to a more theocratic stance. We are secular republic based and it needs to stay that way.
