nothing too exciting, just some beach cruisers around the neighborhood. If this starts to show signs of improvement I’ll put another dirt bike back on my list of must haves.

Working on restoring my 1998 Yamaha YZ400F and 1986 Kawasaki KX125 for vintage motocross races that were theoretically going to happen this summer.

I'm trying to do the time consuming, but not blowing loads of cash stuff right now like stripping to the frame and painting, cleaning carbs that have sat for years etc.

Right on, anything with two wheels is always fun. Dirt bike on my radar as well if things improve, more in the dual sport category for some light trail riding & exploring.

I miss the barely street legalized 88 XR600 I had in college. Real dirt bike with just enough parts off an XL to pass inspection.

Found a 1967 Mustang GT in need of some serious work. The project begins.

Nice! I miss my Kawasaki 425 (old green beast) and my Honda dual-sport 600. Both very different bikes but each served their purpose.

Cool.

Watching Lechien and Ward on the Kawai’s fighting off Johnson/Dymond on the Honda’s in the 80’s was always pretty cool.

Ward has all the height of a horse jockey.

Kinda cool to later see those guys go into MOTARD, etc.

I got to have the pleasure of getting my ass kicked by Doug Henry and John Dowd in the NESC 125 and 200+ A classes when they would do some local races once the nationals were done.

The YZ is mid servicing. Lubing everything. Then going to take to the track and see what breaks. 22 years old and the valve cover is the only thing that's ever been open on the motor to adjust valves. Started getting aluminum in the filter last time I rode it, going to take it out and see what happens.

KX had a mouse move into the airbox and eat the filter. Bike has been sitting since 1988. Put new filter in, clean carb and see where it goes. Have enough spares to do 3 top ends and a crank, no cylinders though so it may go out for a replating.

The turbo Honda had its air filter disintegrate over the winter. Hard to get parts for, have to make one most likely.

Just took my T100 Bonneville around the block. Changing the oil on it today.
