I agree completely that they should not be held liable in any way. In light of the quote at the end of the article, I can see the path the ACLU will use to argue their case. I still think its complete BS, but it shows the value of not talking to the media and watching carefully what goes over company email.

Personally, the ACLU should be held accountable for every other persons rights that have been in violation for fighting the "rights" of others. In the end, it's not even about rights anyways. One of my favorite nic-names is the "American Criminal Liberties Union."
