Yet you took the time to reply.

A thread is not a thread unless there are replies. Thanks for your insightful contribution, proclaimer of all that is or isn’t post worthy.

Yes, there is.
Introduce mandatory courses for at least the CPL and CFII.
You’ll only ever be as bad as your teacher.

Sure there is. It’s called mentorship. Don’t have to be an overbearing prick about it, but a simple course correction early in one’s 135/121 career is sometimes all that is needed. There are lots of piston only/CFI types showing up in the right seats of regional airline cockpits now. They don’t know their ass from a hole in the ground. Just coach em up, and these issues won’t be issues at all.

Excuse me very much ?!
I taught RT the right way just so you know.
Try flying with a 20 year wide body Capt who wants to get a weather deviation over Asia.

Sorry, not a whole lot of new hires going across the pond "meowing" on guard, those are mostly senior pilots. The crossing back from Rome last week was embarrassing.

sad to hear. But to clarify, I was more referring to a lack of knowledge, not a lack of maturity.

You’re the one getting worked up. There is a smile at the end of the post, so take a breath and chill….before you burst a blood vessel. And lay off of caffeine.
