Default FDX & UPS track gun purchase

So I live in Mem ( I know I know) and my state allows me the Constiiutional right to carry. With that being sad you may want to rethink how you ship your arms purchases.

per Fox News , interesting read and collusion with the govt

Must be something to do with that "well regulated militia" I read about somewhere. Where was that?

Does someone have a problem with the federal government regulating their militia members?

I mean, this is the original spirit of the law, is it not?

Last ESTIMATE the FBI made there were 440 million firearms in the hands of the US public and more are added to that every day.

Business

Americans Have More Guns Than Anywhere Else in the World and They Keep Buying More

  • US has 120.5 firearms per 100 residents, report finds
  • Only country with more civilian-owned firearms than people

Black Friday alone saw 193,000 sales.

That’s a logistical impossibility for anyone to register far less to confiscate.I don’t think we have much to worry about. In fact, it looks like existing gun control laws are being ruled unconstitutional left and right and support for more gun control appears to actually be waning:

Not according to Worman v. Healey.

Funny thing is the Left doesn't realize their rhetoric drives up gun sales.

Every time the big guy opens his mouth about guns, I go out and buy another AR.

Firearms and serialized frames or receivers require a different chain of custody than parts and accessories don’t you think?
I am sure shippers face serious fines when they lose a firearm in transition because of inadequate tracking.
  1. No markings of any kind that indicate the nature of the contents may be placed on the outside wrapper or container of any mailpiece containing firearms.
  1. Except for shipments between licensed dealers, manufacturers, or importers, all regulated firearms must be mailed using a USPS product or Extra Service that provides tracking and signature capture at delivery.

Worman v. Healey is about whether or not assault weapons are covered by the 2nd Amendment. The Supreme Court decided they are.

But that doesn't address my question: Do we have a "well regulated militia" or not? In fact, when I searched that document for the word "militia" it produced one result, just in a citation of the 2nd Amendment itself.

So, if our militia is indeed "regulated" then what is the beef here? Tracking weapons (assembled or various components) seems like a Constitutionally compliant act.

Or maybe we don't actually have a militia at all, but simply a powerful and well financed group of "enthusiasts". If that is true, then it's time to amend the 2nd Amendment and insert some modern verbiage that actually reflects our modern society and how the average citizen is expected to comport themselves.
