I have family that lives in Israel. Ive been spending about a week there every 3-4 months for last 8 years. I’ve lost count the number of times I’ve been there and there has been a stabbing or car ramming incident that never makes it on the American media. When you see Israel kill an innocent Palestinian it’s usually collateral damage in response to a suicide bombing. Stabbings and car rammings are almost daily occurrences that rarely receive any retaliation. It’s almost viewed as a way of life Israelis have grown to just live with. You can’t be so dense to think every attack against Palestinians is “just because”.
Palestinians are taught it’s ok to kill Jews in their elementary schools. It’s more than just hating our freedom. They specifically hate Jews more than anything on this earth. It doesn’t take a rocket scientist to realize that. Hamas makes up more than half of the government in Gaza. That would be like the KKK running the U.S. government. Here’s the head of their ministry of culture in 2011, “Whoever is killed by a Jew receives the reward of two martyrs, because the very thing that the Jews did to the prophets was done to him. The Jews are the most despicable and contemptible nation to crawl upon the face of the Earth, because they have displayed hostility to Allah. Allah will kill the Jews in the hell of the world to come, just like they killed the believers in the hell of this world.”

Yeah, you’re giving a completely bias-free viewpoint.

..Anybody (no matter what their color or religion), who intentionally takes a life of another innocent human being, has no place walking on this planet..I wish we could send them all to Mars..!!

No. This is much closer to the reality that Israel lives under. Anti-semitism is alive and well, just more elegant nowadays. It’s disguised as a desire to ‘save’ the very people (Palestinians) who desire most it’s destruction and this viewpoint is furthered by a media who does NOT report on the reality of the situation, anti-Semitic congressmen like Ilhan Omar and AOC, a president who just gave 4+ billion to a state who will use it to fund Hamas, and further destabilize the Middle East-just like they did with the last big payout. Factually, Palestinians have been invited and have been a functioning part of the government and society there- it is not an apartheid state like anti-semites would have you believe. Finally, factually again, if the Jews in Israel laid down their arms tomorrow, they would be eradicated wholesale, if the Palestinians (Hamas, Hezbollah) did there would be peace.
I have no personal love towards Israel or her people, everything I’ve said here is factual, and is knowledge gained through 20+ years of working in and around the region.
Rather than reject someone’s ground truth with a snarky response because you may disagree with them, bring something a little more academic to the table as a response if you actually disagree with them.

This is beyond f'ed up, but go ahead and make up a hypothetical government with policies infuriating enough to make you want to take up arms against a very capable modern military, and you'll see a checklist of Israeli policies.
- Literally lock you into one area and restrict your freedom of movement
- Gov't sanctioned poverty
- Restrict supplies and aid to said poverty inflicted areas
- Allow it's citizens to steal your land, destroy your livelihood and take your homes
- Drop bombs on your neighborhood from time to time
- Literally be a second class citizen with no voting rights and no representation
- Kill your neighbors with zero chance of accountability or justice
- Restrict access to your religion's most holy sites
Did I miss anything? It's interesting that many of the Israeli government's most fervent supporters in the US are the same ones screaming about how it's government overreach to mandate a vaccine or a slightly restrict which firearms you can buy, but have no problem with the Israeli government instituting the above policies. It doesn't excuse atrocities against Israeli civilians, but damn you couldn't create a better recipe for radicalizing enemies if you tried. If you keep your boot on someone's neck you can expect a reaction, and it's not going to be pretty.
Freedom House rate's Gaza's freedoms as an 11/100. Compare that to
Iran- 11
Myanmar- 10
China- 9
Russia- 21
Venezuela- 29
Cuba- 20
Sudan- 30
USA- 76
So if you ever think about how citizens in places like China, Iran or Myanmar should rebel against their oppressive government, you should 100% expect the people of Gaza to fight back too.

- Gov't sanctioned poverty- - another lie, Palestinians have been invited to participate and operate businesses, have access to same small business initiatives that Jewish citizens have
- Restrict supplies and aid to said poverty inflicted areas- - half lie, sanctions exist in some areas because any extra resources go towards the destruction of Israel, death to civilians.
- Allow it's citizens to steal your land, destroy your livelihood and take your homes- - not 100% square but close enough, I’d agree the settlement policy, often pretexualized as a buffer zone against violent incursion, has been unfair
- Drop bombs on your neighborhood from time to time - - I mean, this is pretty damn gross when every single incident is predicated on a violent attack upon Jews first.
- Literally be a second class citizen with no voting rights and no representation - - another lie. Palestinians actually had reps in government, full voting rights, but choose to no longer have them because it made their argument about unfair representation weak. Today, Palestinians are still invited to hold seats in government.
- Kill your neighbors with zero chance of accountability or justice- - talking about Palestinians again?
- Restrict access to your religion's most holy sites- - another lie, Palestinians have access to religious sites unless active hostilities are on going.
Freedom house is a known, very left leaning organization whose policies are anti-semitic.

Try being a Jew and walk into East Jerusalem. (Or other Arab controlled areas in Israel). See how welcome you feel, if you even make it out. Now try being a Muslim and walking anywhere you feel like in the entire country… you’re gonna be completely fine.
Just like a few other posters on here, you’re only seeing one side on the American media. Most Americans are completely clueless on what Israelis have had to deal with everyday for thousands of years, especially the last few decades. There’s a reason the so called “apartheid state” exists.
Even as “oppressed” as Americans are misled into thinking Palestinians are… they still have more rights and freedoms in Israel (a Jewish nation) than they would in many neighboring middle eastern (Arab/Muslim) countries. Especially women and anyone who identifies with LGBTQ.
