On the ropes????
Mesa is hanging from a noose like a pirate of the Caribbean in the town square. It just doesn't know it's dead yet.
I hate that in the back of my mind, I wouldn't be surprised if they manage to recover given their reputation and history. I'd be sorry for the pilot group and all the support staff but would love to see this one finally die its well-deserved end.

Agreed. I'd like to see JO, that piece of **** CP Witman, the useless Union Prez, and most of HR get strung up for show somewhere.

I can remember joining APC in 2006 and the regionals were going through its growing pains. I can remember how guys use to trash talk Mesa Airlines and how crappy is was. Well, guess whose still standing after all the dust has cleared? MESA. Whatever they did & how they did it....it worked. Again, just a personal observation.

To those who replied....again, it was just an observation. I couldn't give a damn what their financial status is. The point is that they are still in operation. Tell me, where's Colgan, ASA, ACA, Expressjet, Chatauqua, Comair, etc....?
That's the point that I'm making. Nuff said.

What's the point you're trying to make? Are you trying to say Mesa is well-run compared to the others becaue they're gone?
Seriously do not understand what point you're trying to make.

If you think about, the regionals were in their prime and running like crazy at that time.
RAH, SKW, and XJT being the biggest and well run.
Sure, names have changed, some don't exist anymore, etc.
And with the exception of CAL, there wasn't a SINGLE legacy bankruptcy contract. Meaning, there was NO scope recapture.
