They showed an interesting stat last night. Compared to Aaron based on age. Hank was much more consistent through his career. He also hit 755 in fewer games, in bigger parks.

Bonds needs one of these * just like McGuire, Sosa, and every other 'roided up power hitter from this era.

Give it 5 years or so. If "A-Rod" stays healthy, he'll beat Bonds at the ripe old age of 37.

You know the the MLB test for the fewest amount of illicit substances out of all professional sports correct? I'm pretty sure they can juice and get away with it.

Oh, And as far as I know steroids have to be tested for specifically with a special test that costs a lot more money than the normal urinalysis.

Someone please correct me if I'm misinformed though.

No, but smaller parks than Hammerin' Hank had, and a home field taylor made to Bonds didn't hurt either.

It's a different era. Many think that 500 won't be enough jacks to get into the hall any more.

Don't forget, Barry's personal trainer is in jail as we speak because he won't talk to the grand jury investigating Bond's alleged perjury.

As for those pictures, how old was he in the first one? How much more does your average 45-year old weight than when he was 18? Not that I'm defending Bonds, as I do think he probably juiced, but just pointing something out...

I'm not sure about hand-eye coordination but I have read about studies that state steroids may help academically. Supposedly it helps with concentration and memorization... If it did in fact help concentration I could see it helping the pitchers...

Bottom line, -I- feel like he had an unfair advantage and shouldn't be held in the same regards as the all time greats. -I- also feel like he didn't need the juice and would have been one of the greatest ever without it, just poor decision making. Oh, and to top it all off the guy is an @$$.
