So far, I think the one about SKIRT and CLAMM are the best. I laughed my butt off when I heard that one. I also remembered that there is RAPEN, BOOZE, and FLO (VOR) near Jacksonville, NC. You can make a funny sentence out of that one. I'll let ya'll be creative on that one.

Back in the old days at Philly, the FAF was named JOANI, so when calling the tower, you'd always say, "Tower, we're inside JOANI."

These fixes used to be spelled out in full length until the FAA decided to go to the five letter fix identifier system.

RYTHM - Arrival Fix used to be spelled RHYTHM
AWDAD - an Intersection that used to be named CRAWDAD.
