Default Google Flight Simulator

The flying isn't as good as Microsoft's but the scenery I think is better in some aspects. It's fun and free. Fly an F-16 or an SR-22.

1. www.google.com/downloads
2. Click on and download Google Eearth
3. Once installed click on the map so that you've selected that frame.
4. With the capslock key on (has to be a capital A) hit "Ctrl+Alt+A" at the same time. A window will pop up asking you which aircraft you'd like to fly.

I recommend the SR22 as it's much slower and gives your connection more time to load the frames. You can select which airport you'd like then fly anywhere in the world google has maps for. Great detail especially in areas where have "laser measured" the cities so the exact buildings etc are there.

Just downloaded Google Earth!!! Showed my parents the sat pic of our house. This is really cool. Will do the sim later. Have to familiarize myself with my elements of software.

I like though.

ToiletDuck:

I've down loaded, opened and entered the flight sim, however, I can't get it to start. What is it that I'm not doing to start the flight?

Do a google search on it and find out the controls. I can't remember exactly which keys do what. I believe you can hit the "alt" key like in flight sim and go to options to adjust the keys.

I have an existing version of Google Earth...I tried the steps but nothing happened. Do you have to remove and download the latest version?

TWAmd80:

Not trying to be a dunce or anything, however, when the window opens that has all of the programs associated with Google Earth checked (small check mark in the box), do I download all of them? What I did was to uncheck all except the first one.

Is this correct or should I have downloaded all checked programs?
