Default Saw a close call last night

I was out doing a night flight with a pvt student and we were staying in the pattern at a local airport. Well we were on downwind abeam the numbers when i see a guy on a final and a guy on base that's turning final and am like *** are they doing!?!?!? And then OMFG their going to hit!!!! And then the guy originally on final called out that he was on final and the guy that cut him off called out yeah we just turned final and the other guy was like yeah you just came within 100ft of hitting me! So then the guy that cut him off went around.
Holy sheit!!! I seriously thought that they were going to hit and was expecting to see them go down. I couldn't believe it. I was in a pretty ****ed off mood after that. It's called checking opposite base and extended final!!!!!!!
This has been a pretty bad week so far. I've had two students try to kill me, or at least try to go offroading in the plane, and then i saw that. Wow. Welcome to the world of flight instructing...

Good thing pilots don't have to take exams verifying they can read, WRITE, and speak English properly.

Maybe not so much, but a stream of consciousness format puts us right in the cockpit with you
