Jumpseat Question
#1
Hey everybody!
I am a new hire out in ATL and I finish basic indoc on the 21st. I need to find a way to get home for xmas. I live in a small town outside of KTYR. The next biggest airports will be KDFW, KDAL, KIAH, and KHOU. How would you go about getting there. How can I tell if its a good idea to go or not? Ohh and I wont be able to fly on any Delta or Delta Connection carriers until I get all my flight benefits. If anyone would be able to help I would greatly appreciate it.

Welcome to ASA! I'm assuming that's the company you got hired with. I've probably seen you around FlightSafety, I have my last sim session tomorrow.
Check out www.passrider.com, it has flights you can choose from, just ignore the Delta ones.
Don't forget your passport and all that good stuff when you go to jumpseat. They'll want to know ASA's airline code, too, which is EV.

Hey how far from Tyler are you? Im from Pittsburg. I usually go into SHV when I go home. Or you can look at jumping to IAH then jumping to TYR from there. Like the other guy said look at passrider.com to see the flight times. Try to stay away from going to DFW because those flights are always hard to get on. BTW welcome to ASA.
