Default Teterboro

Hey Guys,

1) Do you guys know if Teterboro can handle a BBJ? BB1 that is (-700)? can it handle a BBJ2 (-800)?

2) is there a site or something where i can find this information out myself? AirNav?

Thanks,

Kylan

Try calling one of the FBO's. You may be better off using EWR.

Max gross of 100,000lbs according to NBAA.. So, no BBJs.

There's a small difference. You can take a BBJ into Teter it just has to be under 100k while operating there. You need to contact the airport manager and file a form that he must approve to operate jets in and out of there. You'll also be required to submit a W&B prior to arrival and departure to prove the weights of the aircraft. I'm not sure who to contact but for your questions start here.

Slight problem since the empty gross of a BBJ2 is 100,815lbs according to a number of sites. On another site, the -700 is listed around 84,000, the -800 at 91,000 at the -900 at about 98,000 so not a whole lot of room for fuel.
Even if the light weight is right, you can't do a whole lot with 16,000lbs of fuel so it doesn't make a whole lot of sense to take a BBJ into TEB, IMHO.

I didn't know anything about the weights of it. But your statement was just sounding as an aircraft with a max gross over 100k couldn't come in. They can they just need to be under 100k while there.

TEB doesn't have much room on the ramps for a bigger corporate jet. They have trouble with the small jets. They pack them in everywhere. Most larger jet go to EWR. I've seen BBJ, 757, 767, 707, etc. Be prepared for fees and delays. I love EWR!
