Taking a girl flying

In my experience if you stay around 2,000 AGL, the closer to the airport the better (not much landing/departing traffic that high). If they need a reason why you are doing it, tell them you are doing a sightseeing flight or a photo flight. A lot of controllers (especially if they've been there a while) will know landmarks such as "blah blah university" so they'll know where you want to go. What airport will you be near?

Over at CMH, it really depends on the time of day. I've been there at the same time every night, and sometimes the Rush is coming, there, or already past, no consistency for the most part. Just work with the controllers, but if you're going towards OSU, then I think you'll be far enough away that you'll be fine. Just plan on staying low and they should work with you.

What is the best way to coordinate this with ATC?
You're a TEACHER for cryin' out loud...don't you know how to enter/transit Class C airspace by now? Or at least you know where to look for the answer in the appropriate reference...don't you!?
