Default Tax refund and a watch...

So... some of you may have heard that the gov is going to give single people 600 buck and 1200 for "economic stimulus package." Anyways, I'm looking for a watch that shows zulu time on it (analog) or a 24 hour hand. Does anyone have something they have been using and like? looking for under 100....

Ditto Senior Skipper....

This may just be my own opinion, but a good watch is a good investment. I'm not saying you should go out and drop $1,500-$3,000 on one. But don't be afraid to break the $100 level. I've found that when you buy a watch, [within reason] you'll get you pay for.

Always,

Dreamer

I was walking through a mall a while ago and a cupple watches caught my eye. Form what I remeber (it was about 6 monthes ago) they were cutting edge watches put out by Timex (If fact, I think some of them had been designed especially for pilots). I believe that they were between $300-500. But to be quite honest, there arn't any secret "Pilot Watch Shops" that the rest of us are hiding from you (Unless they're hiding them from me too). If you need a good watch, browse through a cupple jewlry stores, tell them you're a pilot. Check a bunch of places out, do the research and then make your decision: because if your going to drop several hundred on a watch, you're going to want to get one which fits both your personal and professtional needs.

I totally agree with that. I've looked online and this is one I've kept my eye on "http://www.ewatches.com/Torgoen/T5.01.02.S02.html"
I'm looking if anyone has one that they would recommend.

I agree Dreamer, but that's because I'm a watch lover.

Scooter, you think about at the Citizen Navihawk or Skyhawk series. You can also look at the Citizen Skyhawk A-T, though it's a wee bit more than the initial $100.

Right now, I'm wearing the Casio PAW 1300. It doesn't have any analog features, but a ton of others.

Walmart. Timex Expedition. Does everything you asked for. $35. I've been using it for about 10 years. No expensive watch does anything more or better. Remember, its only a watch.

I would not spend a lot of money if you're going to wear it primarily at work. Sooner or later, it will get damaged "in the line of duty". Been there done that - many times.
