no doubt, man! FU people with their cellphones. Do I have one? Yes. Do I carry it with me in restaraunts, grocery stores, or to the gym? No! It stays in my car!!!!!!!!I hate those chicks on the treadmill or elliptical talking on the phone.

I frickin hate the idiots who:

are scared of anything with a propellor on it, and the people get ****ed off at employees about weather related delays, get over it!

sinsilvia666 04-18-2008 06:09 PM

"oh great its one of those...

"props"
"prop jobs"
"little plane"

mooney 04-19-2008 04:30 PM

Guy gets on the CRJ..."I hate these GD turboprops!!!"
me: "ummm, show me where the props are sir?"
him: "Any airplane this size is a turboprop"
me: "again, show me the props sir"
him: "I fly 3 times a month for business, I guarantee I know more about flying than you do!"

and yes I was in uniform in the left seat :)

Then the guy flying from Tupelo, MS to Champaign, IL...
"Why is the plane sooo small?? "
So i tell them the airline would be happy to send a 747 but his ticket might be slightly more expensive. And if they are real Aholes I tell them, "live in a real city, you can fly on a real airplane." That usually shuts them up.

I had one of these morons in the waiting area a few weeks ago.....cell phone shouter. What a moron.

3. The hands-free guy
This is the man with the hidden cell-phone device in his ear. When he speaks directly at you, causing you to utter some polite but confused reply, he points to his cell phone and frowns at you as if you are the idiot. This is also the guy who broadcasts unwanted details of his conversation to the entire gate area.

I am going on a trip soon. It sucks to get older because my tolerance level is much lower. I hate people who get on board and put their carry on luggage in the first available bin space in the front when their own seat is in the back. By the time I get on, there is absolutely no room and I have to stick my kitchen sink under my seat! So annoying!

How about people that don't understand that planes don't like to take off in 50 Mph crosswinds? Their logic "It's a big plane, it shouldn't matter!"

After taking 5 days to get myself out of Afghanistan and back to the states, (nothing like a 3AM show time for a 10PM flight!) where one of our days was spending 20 hours bringing our own bags through customs, doing our own checks under supervision, loading the pallets with our own bags ourselves (you load your own bags on every flight you get onto, no such thing as baggage handlers!) and then hanging around doing nothing....domestic delays really don't bother me anymore!

SPDBOILER 04-23-2008 11:57 AM

I hate to check baggage because of the people that love to push past you trying to get a closer spot to the baggage carousel. Last time had a "lady" push in front of me even though I was about a foot from the damn thing. I guess I would have understood maybe if the person's luggage was already out...nope, just wanted to cut in front of me. My face was literally in this lady's hair she was so close. I said excuse me loudly but she didn't seem to mind. What a joy.

"1. Armchair Quarterbacks of flying (aka the people who know more about flying than everyone else) for instance two people sitting in front of me insisted that the airplane would go no higher than 8000ft (737 pit to lga)
***Same type of people you hate to listen to at an airshow cause the formation of f18s is definitely... has to be a fx-189 (enter random airplane here haha)"

Had one guy at an airshow telling everyone on the other side of the plane that the PITOT TUBE was my REFUELING PROBE!

I eventually had to shoo him away!

One thing that I really liked about Frontier was that their cabin crew was one of the first that I actually saw get after people when they heard the seat belts coming undone before the light went off (then as mentioned - everyone jumps up and waits) :o(
