Heck, when the bottom of my flight case completely gave out, I called Maintenance, and they speed taped it for me... That kept me going for another two months until I could get a new one!!

I was kinda sad to see that poor thing go... Walking through the terminal looking like a ghetto pilot was fun!!!

Back when I was just starting out. (Early 90's) I had a plymouth colt with the passenger door speed taped shut. Lasted another year till the door fell off on I-75.

How fast were you going? Speed Tape does have it's limitations.

It was a Colt mind you, so probably not very??? Maybe he was running down-hill.
