With 40 hours multi, I can see it being a little easier to get a job. I had 12 hours and everybody told me they wanted more multi time. Maybe I was looking in the wrong places (East coast mostly).

And now my curiosity is peaked. Why are you guys hesitant to share the names of your companies? Is it small and you want to remain anonymous, or is it something else? I don't need the job anymore, I'm just curious.

135 on demand freight. I started out as a co-pilot in the EMB-110, which they basically are just looking for a warm body to fill the co-pilots seat. They don't expect much from you in the beginning, but I gained a TON of real world experience real fast. We've hired guys with 400 hrs and 10hrs multi. We almost never hire guys with more than 1000hrs and a hand full of multi for the EMB-110. The reason I don't say who I work for is I don't want to be bombarded with a bunch of low time pilots asking me to get them a job. But they are out there, just start sending your resume out to 135 cargo operators that have co-pilots and make some phone calls. Another great way to get a start is to work ground support for a company your interested in.

Same here, plus if someone is really interested, they'll go a bit further and actually contact me if they are interested in something. We on the other hand don't use co-pilots, everything is single-pilot ops. C-310, C-404, and C421.

I'll say this, and of course probably get 100 Pm's, but we have low # orders for Eclipse 500's. No you can't get a job straight into the jet. No there isn't an estimated upgrade. I've been here over a year and I'm still in a 310(But then again, he's holding me for the jet hopefully, and bumped the other guys into the 400's). That way we have pilots that can cover two types of aircraft. Most employee's are gone after a year or earlier.

So please don't PM me about a job right now, we don't have any openings. I will post up if we ever do. I'm all about helping others out!

I wasn't even a member until this summer, but forgot about it until the last month.

Open offer though, any questions about a 135 freight/pax operation, flying the small stuff, I'd be more than glad to talk about it. I'll try and answer to my best ability.

Try AirNet, and AirNow.
They USED to (not sure now) have a type of "internship".
