Default Forum delays

Don't exactly know which forum to put this in. Mods please move it if necessary.

Basically, I'm putting this here to see if anyone else has been experiencing delays with the APC forums like I have recently.

I will click on a forum, no problem....open a few threads....no problem...oh, wait. The first one or two opened but the rest are hung up. Wait, wait, wait..refresh, wait, refresh, wait.

The delays are completely random. Busy times, dead times - it doesn't matter.

The question is - has APC moved to new servers? Do they have some sort of limit on them? Does this have anything to do with the sale of the site or is it a temporary thing?

I can't be the only one to notice this. Mods/owners - if you know what's going on, just post a sticky on the forums so guys know what the deal is. I've closed down numerous threads and not replied several times in the past few days just out of frustration due to the timeouts.

Thanks for listening!

This has been discussed. If you using a browser other than IE or Safari, there seems to be a problem. I'm not sure what else to tell you. I switched to IE and have had a normal experience with the site.

Thanks for the quick response. For the large number of folks using Firefox (like me) an Announcement or Sticky in a few forums acknowledging the problem would be nice!

This is a great site, but I'm not going to start using IE just to view it. As you know the more the PITA factor increases, the less likely a pilot is to use said PITA device.
