I had that but I switched to "Ambiance" instead, I like it much better.

Lets see - for apps I have:

1. Flight Tracker - Mobile version of fboweb

2. Checkbook - good for bank balances and stuff

3. Memengo Wallet - perfect for remembering all those passwords

4. Horoscopes - fun to read I guess

5. Fake Call - If you ever need to get out of a meeting or convo you don't want to be in!!

6. Open Table - restaurant reservations, perfect for being on the road

7. Wikipanion - great wikipedia app!!!

8. Trapster - alerts you to speed cameras, red light cameras, and police hiding places! Awesome!!

9. Minesweeper - good little game

10. Ambiance - noise generator with like 30 something sounds. Works great

11. MyLite - flashlight program

12. Flick Fishing - COOL fishing program. I love it!

13. Pilot FAR - A MUST for every pilot. Has all the FARs on the phone, and searchable. VERY handy!!

14. ConvertAid - Converts anything to anything

15. AeroWeather - Good weather program, and decodes TAFs.

16. AirWX - Excellent Wx program, and has Wx charts as well.

17. LogTen Mobile - Logbook program

18. Facebook - mobile Facebook.

That's what I've found useful so far, what iPhone apps do you use on a daily basis that make your iPhone a more functional device?
HSLD - as hotshot pointed out, we already have a thread going on that subject (we're sooo ahead of you! ) - would you please merge the two threads?

I agree. Crew Rest is a great app for those of us that fly the long legs.

HiConverter is a great (free) app for money conversions, or any other conversion that you could ever dream of. Great for those days when you need to convert centimeter-candle to flame.

But doesn't use Skype! It now, on the latest release, allows free calling Truphone to Truphone, and the rates just came down, I think its cheaper than Skype's $.021/min. Excellent since momma has an iPhone too! Also, when I call home with Truphone, my phone number shows on caller id. It also goes right to my voicemail when I call my own number, without having to use * and and PIN.

For Skype, use fring. fring doesn't connect nearly as well as Truphone, at least for me.

Other Apps:

Delivery Status - track FedEx, UPS, USPS (if you can call it tracking), Amazon, etc.

Flight Tracker

Easy Wi-Fi

Brothers in Arms

Loopt

Lightsaber

iBeer

Midnight Bowling
