Default PTS questions

when i take my instrument is it fair under the pts to ask ppl questions? i know that you have to follow pts for the instrument but my dad told me that the examiner can make u responsible for ppl questions. can anybody shed any light on that?

Maybe he means that many of the tasks and knowledge items required for an FAA Private Pilot certificate overlap those of the Instrument PTS. Get both of them and see, if you are curious. Otherwise you only need to meet the tasks and knowledge items outlined in the PTS for the certificate or rating you currently seek. There is no intentional omission involved in the Practical Test Standard publications- quite the opposite, they are intended to make students aware of what counts.

lol. i still have to get through 2 english remedial courses for school so we will see how that goes
