Turbines and aerobatics don't mix to well. Remember Wayne Handley and the Turbo Raven? Here is the link. I think it was ruled as a compressor stall due to high AOA. Airshow Crash/Wayne Handley's "Turbo-Raven" Engine Failure www.kbvp.com. If I remember right, he said the ignitor wasn't working properly and it quit on him because he coulden't keep the fire lit. But damn, that thing looks like fun! |
