Congrat's .to those born 1920-1970

I saw the change in my own family. I was born in 79 and my little brother in 81. I ran around outside, rode all over the town on my bike without a helmet, played every sport imaginable in leagues and with the neighborhood kids and was happy out side. We had a NES and then SNES, but I never got into much other then the sports games and sim city. I'd rather head outdoors and find some trouble to get into.
My little brother gave up on sports at about 10 or 12 and was always on the video games. Then in the mid 90's the strange sounds of an early modem started breaking the evening silence as he was logging onto the internet and away he went.

Great Post, I miss riding in back of pickup trucks, being able to carry a bb gun in the street without people calling the police, riding my go-cart all day and if it broke down or ran out of gas i did not have a cell phone to call mommy.

hey, i'm 28 and very trustworthy
I was a product of pre-computer,pre-cell phones, pre-video games, etc. My generation is the last of the "GO Outside and play" kids. You couldnt keep us inside, our idea of a good time was climbing trees, playing outside and getting into good old fashioned trouble (not the kind kids get arrested for these days). Todays kids prefer to stay inside and play video games or play sports on the Wii.
My 4 year old asked me for a XBOX 360 and a Iphone the other day
It really is sad
I miss the good ole days and i'm not over 30
