If someone was at the far end of your stated age range and then had kids when they were 20-25; those kids would be between 15-20 years old.
If your talking about those kids - let's say age range between 10-15 when they are sitting in front of the TV instead of outside playing; those kids would have been born to parents born between 1970-75 - so outside of your stated age range?

Just busting on you hawkesaurus......it is BOTH of their faults - no matter what the age (of the parents or the kids); but there is little doubt in my mind that kids are more content to stay indoors today. There is just more to keep them inside nowadays. When I would make sulphur volcanoes in the house with my chemistry set - my mom kicked me outside for the rest of the day

I remember those chemistry sets!!! My older brother had one. As a matter of fact, the casing of the set is still sitting in my parents attic . It may not have been as elaborate as yours, however just like you said USMCFLYR, kids today just don't get into things like that anymore.

Minus them.....still leaves a lot of softies!

Also, the technological differences are quite vast between all of these eras, so it's not exactly a fair comparison. But, like you said, it goes both ways.

...and no one has mentioned The Monkees yet?
I heard they are making a movie of "The Land Before Time".
I think "The Courtship of Eddies Father" with Bill Bixby was on Thursday nights.
Adam 12 (One Adam 12, one Adam 12, meet the man...)
Emergency
Abbott and Costello movies on Saturday (or was it Sunday morning)?
The family gathering around the TV to watch man walk on the moon!

I remember leaning over the back seat of the station wagon from the cargo compartment and having my dad hit the brakes so we could flip over the seat

Hot Wheels
H.R. Puffenstuff

and a whole slew of others. Yeah, Dynasty HVY.........those were the days!

Nintendo, hmph, that's for the younger generation!

ATARI!!!!!!!!!!!

We had Pac-Man, Mrs. Pac-Man, the ever frustrating Jungle Hunt, Mountain King (beat that game once, not much of an ending), and Asteroids. My brother could flip the score twice on Asteroids, I'd always go flying, using the see and avoid technique and having about the same luck as the Tie Fighters in a certain asteroid field.

Now get off my lawn!

Great video games.......however does anyone remember ROBOTRON 2084?

At the Chuck E. Cheese that use to sit next to the K-Mart on Hwy 92 in Daytona Beach is where I use to play while attending ERAU. I held the high score until they removed the machine or C E.Cheese closed.......15,243,540 points.

I put my quarter in the game at 3:55pm and used my last man at 7:05pm. It was amazing. Talk about being plugged in or being in the ZONE.
