Whats the best airport food you have ever had
Alright what's the best and worst food you have ever had in the secured area provided by a restaurant? Catering doesn't count, everybody knows that stuff doesn't count as food.
For me the best was a real deal Lobster Po' boy sandwhich up in Portland, ME made fresh when I hadn't eaten in over 38hrs as a poor turbo-prop FO. The worst was the infamous "Newark Roach Coach" outside ops back in 99' which served me up a fresh E'Coli burger.

Don't forget about the mini pizzas and the cheap vending machines in the basement! I recommend the tour of the Alaska sport heroes hall of fame every time my friends are in town! Anchorage rocks

The pizza is at the sad little bar in the A concourse... Just look for the gathering of drunk slope workers and you've come to the right place. They also have nachos that are not on the menu but they are very pricey.
Unless it's a bag of sun chips, I would probably not actually eat food from a vending machine.

I just found a place down by our bag well that has premade sandwiches. They are good, and cheaper than Hudson News!
Ah, I know where that is. I also know all about the slope workers, I work for the company that does their ground handling. Quite a few have had a bit to drink when the come get their bags!

The Jet Blue cafeteria deal in their terminal in KJFK is outstanding. Hot, seems to be fresh and easy to zip in and zip out and find a table.
Gold Coast Dogs & Billy Goat at KORD/KMDW.
Five Guys in KIAD.
Everything in KBDL is crap, except the hotel restaurant between the main terminal and the aal terminal (the long 15 min walk one).
Whats up with a west-coast chain of philly chesesteak places in KPHX? Horrible smell, also, KPHX burger king doesnt serve chicken nuggets (wha?).
That one BBQ place in KDFW is nice (its a chain, but good).
Never found anything good in KEWR, KSJC or KLAS.
